CS:GO is Valve’s modern Counter-Strike. It launched in 2012 and is free on Steam. The core rules are the same: two teams, bomb defusal and hostage maps.

Gameplay keeps the CS feel. Recoil, economy, and wall penetration were tuned. Teamwork and good positions matter more than flashy plays.
